In 1998 in collaboration with the Instituto Nacional de Bienestar Familiar in Chimbote, Peru, a multipurpose building was constructed to house children who had been abandoned or were in difficult family situations. The building was constructed at the “San Pedrito” Center, which, in addition to housing the boys, provides them with human and vocational training that then enables their inclusion in social life.
